Starbeck Educational Resources
A great place to find objects for many different periods of history from the UK and the rest of the world. Also resources for religion, textiles and art.
Inspire Education
A large selection of objects including Artefact boxes on a variety of topics from ancient Egypt, Benin and Maya to British topics such as the Great Fire of London and the Stone Age.
Inspire Education offer a subscription service which includes many history topics (such as Stone Age to Iron Age and the Maya. Each topic comes with interactive and immersive scenes that are fully animated. Plus, hundreds of time-saving lesson plans, resources and multimedia. With links to Mozaik.
TTS Resources
A great range of affordable objects and books on a range of topics from KS1 and KS2.
Ancient Craft
A lovely range of replica prehistoric objects such as stone and antler tools. Prices range from affordable to more expensive but the quality is incredible. All made using authentic tools from the period.
Wildgoose Education
A large selection of history classroom resources such as timelines, maps and card games. Also have some good free resources to download. They also have resources for maths, music and science.
Vinted
Great for cheap, one off items. Particularly for monarchy related memorbilia and changes within living memory for KS1.
Facebook Marketplace
It's amazing what you can find in Facebook Marketplace or Freecycle groups on Facebook! It is worth taking a look. I managed to find a beautiful drinking horn for free!
Shein/Temu
Yes, you read that right. Surprisingly good place to get cheap items for history. It does take a little bit of searching and not everything is accurate but you can find some gems on these sites. I've found items such as Apollo 11 patches and replica coins on there.
