I am a history enthusiast who has experience working in museums and in primary schools.

I have worked in many types of museum - from independent to national museums - mostly in the education departments.  I understand the value of working with objects and primary sources to help children understand the past.

For 12 years, I worked in the primary school where I was History Subject Lead for about 8 of those years.  I use the principles from museum education and bring it into the classroom to enhance children's learning of history.  I created whole history curriculums to individual lesson plans as well as created topic boxes with objects for the children to use.
